Sheaffer Targa

The Targa line was introduced in 1976 and was discontinued in the beginning of the 1990s. It continued the use of the beautiful, inlaid nib seen also in earlier models such as Pen For Men and Imperial. During the period of production the Targa didn't change its basic design, but it did see at lot of different finishes. There are many beautiful lacquer pens (as seen also in the competing line from Parker, the 75), many gold and silver plated finishes etc. I don't have many Targas in my collection, only the four pens shown below. The grey mottled pen is mint and still carries a price sticker.
